Integrations

Start with the systems your team already uses

A named connector, API possibility and manual handoff are different routes

The correct integration depends on the exact system, SpeechLive plan, user role, client, account configuration and information that must move between systems.

Evaluate every named connection against the current U.S. plan and configuration. Integration is a qualification path—not a universal compatibility promise.

NAMED CONNECTIONS

Qualify each route independently

Every integration depends on the current plan, account, role, client and configuration. This matrix is not a universal compatibility promise.

How to read the integration options

  • A documented integration has current Philips instructions for a named product.
  • A configured connector must be enabled and mapped by the appropriate administrators.
  • An API-based possibility requires technical design, development, testing and security review. API availability is not a promise that a requested connection already exists.
  • An export/import workflow moves supported files between systems without a live connector.
  • A manual handoff depends on a person selecting, downloading, uploading or copying approved information.
  • An unverified or customer-specific requirement needs discovery before any compatibility statement can be made.

Integration is a qualification path, not a universal compatibility promise.

Actionstep

Current Philips U.S. help documents a configured Actionstep integration. An account administrator activates it in SpeechLive, an Actionstep administrator completes access for the required matter types and a selected SpeechLive custom field carries the Matter ID.

The documented workflow can start a dictation or speech-recognition session from Actionstep or SpeechLive. Dictations and attachments can synchronize to Actionstep, and transcripts synchronize after a Typist or automatic speech recognition processes the dictation. Available processing options depend on activated account services.

Confirm the current SpeechLive plan, both administrator roles, Actionstep permissions, matter types, custom-field mapping and enabled services before relying on the route.

Clio

Current Philips U.S. help documents a configured Clio integration that uses an administrator-enabled connection and a mapped Matter ID custom field. Philips currently notes a user-visibility limitation: the user who enables the integration receives the Clio custom action, while other firm users may need to copy the Matter ID manually into the configured SpeechLive field.

Confirm the current SpeechLive plan, Clio account and permissions, user coverage, field mapping and any manual step before treating the connection as suitable for a firm-wide workflow.

iManage

Current Philips U.S. help documents iManage support for SpeechLive Enterprise and iManage Work Web at cloudimanage.com. Both systems require configuration, and a SpeechLive account administrator must activate the integration for workflow users.

The documented Typist workflow allows a user to choose a dictation and upload selected items—such as the dictation, transcript or specific attachments—to a selected iManage folder after authentication. This is a user-directed upload, not a promise of automatic synchronization for every file or workflow.

Confirm Enterprise entitlement, the supported iManage environment, account-administrator setup, user authentication, target folders and required file types.

NetDocuments

Current Philips U.S. help documents a configured NetDocuments integration. Administrators activate and authorize the connection, map a SpeechLive custom field to the Matter ID and enable the required NetDocuments application actions for users.

The documented workflow can start dictation or speech recognition from NetDocuments or SpeechLive, link work by Matter ID, synchronize dictations and attachments, and return transcripts after Typist or automatic speech-recognition processing. Available processing options depend on activated services.

Confirm the current SpeechLive plan, NetDocuments account and administrator setup, user permissions, application configuration, Matter ID mapping and enabled SpeechLive services.

SpeechLive API and customer-specific connections

Philips provides a U.S. SpeechLive developer portal for programmatic work with users, teams, dictations, properties and attachments. Current Philips help states that API access is available only for SpeechLive Enterprise. It also warns that the API token has full access to workflow administration and dictation management and must be shared only with trusted parties.

The API can support a custom connection, but it does not establish that a requested product, data flow or outcome is already supported. A customer-specific route requires Enterprise eligibility, documented endpoints, responsible development ownership, authentication and token controls, field mapping, error handling, testing, monitoring, retention decisions and security review.

Do not submit credentials, API tokens, account secrets, confidential diagrams, security findings or sensitive system information through an initial consultation form.

Security, data flow and AI review

Each connected workflow must identify what enters SpeechLive, what leaves it, which system receives the information, which users can act, and which party controls access, retention and deletion. Philips’ SpeechLive security statements do not automatically describe the third-party system or every customer-built endpoint. Review the connected product’s current terms and security information as part of the complete data flow.

If an integrated workflow uses AI Speech Recognition, Professional AI, Legal AI or Health AI, the applicable review requirements remain in force. Integration never converts draft AI output into approved final work. Legal and clinical outputs retain their stricter qualified-review and prohibited-use boundaries.

Use Security and Privacy for the detailed platform review. Do not place patient information, legal-matter details, recordings, dictated content, documents, credentials, account secrets, confidential diagrams, security findings or sensitive system information in an integration request.

  • Use US Plans and Pricing for current plan, bundle, allowance, tax and quote details.
  • Use Security and Privacy for hosting, encryption, privacy roles, retention questions and customer-specific review.
  • Use Hardware and Compatibility for supported recorders, microphones, clients and device requirements.
  • Use the relevant product page for AI output and human-review requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Does SpeechLive work with every document or practice-management system?

No. Only current, individually documented integrations should be named. Other requirements may need an export/import process, a manual handoff or a separately designed API connection.

Are Actionstep, Clio, iManage and NetDocuments available on every plan?

No universal entitlement is stated. The current U.S. plan, account, role, client and configuration must be checked for each system. iManage is specifically documented as a SpeechLive Enterprise function.

What can the Actionstep connection move?

Current U.S. help documents synchronized dictations and attachments, with transcripts synchronized after Typist or automatic speech-recognition processing. The Matter ID and activated services must be configured.

What is the current limitation for Clio users?

Philips currently states that the user who enables the integration receives the Clio custom action. Other firm users may need to copy the Clio Matter ID manually into the configured SpeechLive field. Confirm the current behavior before rollout.

Is iManage synchronization automatic?

The documented Typist route is a user-directed upload of selected dictations, transcripts or attachments to a selected iManage folder. It requires SpeechLive Enterprise, supported iManage Work Web, configuration and authentication.

Can NetDocuments start a SpeechLive dictation?

Current U.S. help documents starting dictation or speech recognition from NetDocuments and linking the work by Matter ID after administrator setup. Confirm permissions, mapping and activated services.

Can the SpeechLive API connect to our internal system?

Possibly, but API availability is not a finished integration. Current help limits API access to SpeechLive Enterprise. A qualified team must assess endpoints, authentication, data flow, security, testing, support and maintenance.

What should we provide for an integration review?

Provide the integration name, product interest, whether you already use SpeechLive, your current plan if known and the source page. Do not provide recordings, dictated content, documents, patient information, legal-matter details, credentials, account secrets, confidential diagrams, security findings or sensitive system information.

Qualify the route before implementation

DictaMic can help identify the named system, intended input and output, participant roles, current SpeechLive account, plan and client, setup ownership, security questions and the appropriate next review.

Permitted intake context is limited to integration name, product interest, account status, current plan if known and source page.

If the consultation route is unavailable, use Security review or guided demo.

Qualify before implementation

Discuss the intended integration route

Share only the system name, product interest, account status and current plan if known. Do not submit recordings, documents, patient information, legal-matter details, credentials, tokens, confidential diagrams, security findings or sensitive system information.
